Great place for the kids with the playground & always friendly, helpful staff.
We went to Maccas in Gordonvale to catch up with friends and was absolutely disgusted with all the hundreds of flies in the restaurant and the dirty and unclean tables and floors, the rubbish bins were overflowing too. The whole place was a disgrace! Come on kids, get it together please!!! On a positive, the kids working there are always friendly.

I'm reluctant to assign to more than 2 stars to any McDonald's restaurant because their 'Gourmet' burgers and wraps are hurriedly assembled, lack a respectable amount of filling and are overpriced; $12.70 for a Spicy Chicken wrap (carrot, lettuce, two small crumbed chicken strips and far too much chilli sauce). However, there are no other local fast food alternatives. So, I have rewarded McDonald's in Gordonvale with three stars because one particular staff member helped us to formulate a delicious Iced Latte that is not a standard option on the menu. Thank you.
Most of the teams are really good, but we've just made an app order and the front counter staff didn't know how to process the order. The order made via app are always paid for, but the counter staff and shift manager had no idea how it works, kept saying i haven't for it. The app is infamously rated on the app store, but what more striking is the lack of training across the store. We've made several orders on this app and picked up from different stores before, but this experience made us to decide to delete the app altogether and stay away from it. The counter staff saw me as a trouble customer as I was presenting them with the confirmation code but they had no idea what it was... I was rendered speechless.
